Information Collection

The Case Manager will collect your medical history including photographs of the surgical area (for cosmetic surgery patients), and/or most recent diagnoses, lab tests and x-rays.

Surgeon Communication

Not all cases require a surgical consultation. However, more complex surgeries, or patients with health complications, may need multiple contacts with the surgeon - and these may be undertaken using email, a conference call, a video conference or a combination of these. Your Case Manager will make the necessary arrangements for these initial consultations at no cost or obligation to you.

Case Management Team Dedicated to Your Case

Getting to the Hospital

Patients of Hospital Angeles Tijuana fly into San Diego Airport and are picked up at the airport by a comfortable hospital shuttle service. The border into Mexico is crossed using a special convenient medical transport lane to minimize waiting times and delays. Hospital Angeles Tijuana is located only minutes away from San Diego. The hospital is a new, modern facility with state-of-the-art medical technology, and features round-the-clock security for patients' peace of mind.

Step 3: After the Procedure

Angeles Health take care of patients and their needs even after the procedure is complete.

Release From the Hospital / Hotel Stay

If the surgeon requires follow-up consultation, patients can choose to stay at one of the Angeles Health partner hotels in Tijuana or San Diego until they are approved for travel.

Surgeon Follow-up / Release for Travel

Patients will be provided with medical shuttle transport across the border and to the airport, or a San Diego destination. Some patients getting treatment in Tijuana choose to convalesce at nearby Rosarito Beach and transport may also be arranged to and from there.
