FRIDA KAHLO
Frida Kahlo (1907 – 1954) was a Mexican painter known for her self-portraits. Kahlo spent her life in Mexico City living in La Casa Azul, the Blue House, now a major museum in the bohemian Coyoacán district of the capital. Her work has been celebrated internationally, with a recent autobiographical film and high-profile exhibitions of her work which have traveled the world. She was married to the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera.
